Marsh® Oil Boards are 0.015" thick oil-treated paperboard sheets engineered specifically for use with stencil cutting machines. The oil treatment performs two simultaneous functions on every cutting pass: it lubricates machine punches to reduce wear and extend equipment life, and it prevents ink bleed-through so finished stencils produce clean, sharp marks.
These boards are well suited to warehousing, manufacturing, distribution, and shipping environments where consistent product identification and marking are required. The material holds up on both flat and curved application surfaces, making it practical for marking cartons, drums, crates, and irregular packages.
Each board measures 6 x 16 inches with grain orientation that maintains structural rigidity under punch pressure, resisting tearing or pulling during cutting. Cut with the grain to preserve that rigidity throughout the stenciling process. Cases contain 975 boards and ship via parcel carrier.
